Chessboard

Chess, a little different. The initial concept was to design a chessboard with mere cylindrical forms which would fit into each other, form a bigger cylinder and could be placed in the back of the board (see the image on the lower left). The exterior form of the beech and aluminium pieces together is cut out of the back of the board and forms the storage place for the pieces. |
